But what type of frame is it? I don't see the curved part behind the engine that I see on the other Norvins.

The "Vincent Lightning" Norvin was Scott Seeger's and is still in Virginia with the rest of his bikes. It had a poor restamp of a "1C" on it, as I remember. At that time most folks did not care, it was just for bragging rights, but I don't think Scott thought it was a Lightning.
There was someone that I think was named Fred that had a Norvin down the road from me in New Hampshire. He was from Kingston, NH. I invited him everywhere I could, but I never saw the bike!

The guy that owns this shop in the USA is Australian, I saw 1/197 a few days back in Australia. 1/267 came to Australia 2/10/47 ? the one in US 1/271 made 1947
