Now that I have the clutch out and cleaned I noticed that the springs in the centralizing plungers are not equal in strength . The pads seem to have about the same ware. Is this something that I need to adjust, or is unequal spring resistance normal?
Do you mean the 6 pilot clutch springs??? If they are not even in weight then the metals will not lift evenly and may drag and that can make shifting into neutral troublesome. By any chance do you have an even number of heavy vs light springs? If so if you installed in alternating weights light heavy light heavy etc. It would be even...If they are all over the place then just get new ones to be sure,,
