Almost all the old Norvin petrol/oil tanks were fibreglass, not something you want these days !!

The common problem with fibreglass tanks, the fuel would leech into the oil and dilute it. With sometimes disasterous effects.

The best part of norvins,to me is how different they are from each other. I guess they reflect their builders. Eric's has more vincent reflections than most. Well done.

Would it be a fare comment to say that the main reason anyone wanted to build a bike like a Norvin was because of either the poor handling, or braking ability a standard Vincent .........?

That's why I built mine. But I'm sure a good rider who knows his Vin would turn around a mediocre Norvin rider. Like me!
