The top hat ET 164 MUST be sealed between it's back and the case or oil will escape out behind it and out of the primary making a big mess . Done it . Sid .

Sid here . The Videan 3 clutch in our Vincati never needs being reset when hot or during a ride . I described how ours is double lipped sealed on the alloy disc to deal with oil entering the chain case . Still we do change the fluid now and then . Seen no problems so far over several years of use . The mods to the lever and inner arm have been described , easily done and a real improvement .
There are a god zillion clutches operating in Brit vertical twins , and inside modern motors with no complaints . Sid .
