Vincent Speet recommended These Morgo filters. You can see the cartridge protruding under the footrest.

There is the cartridge or felt filter, but that is down stream from the oil pump. Anything that comes down the feed pipe from the oil tank goes through the pump first. The screen should keep most of it out of the pump. Peeking inside a few used pumps suggests it isn’t a perfect solution, but as mentioned in my original post, I wouldn’t want to add anything too restrictive. I did make a screen for the Comet, because I was using a home made oil tank. The mesh is pretty close to what is attached to the T30AS, but quite a bit larger, so flow will be greater.
