Oh I see... mine is still in its box from BTH and unused..The BTH is since 6000 km in my rapide and the teeth of the idler are not Looking perfect.
Something doesn't sound right as I've done 50,000 miles on the same Tufnol gear bought from the VOC Spares Co around 2008.The BTH is since 6000 km in my rapide and the teeth of the idler are not Looking perfect.
Hi Erik, you should be careful with nylon as some grades are hygroscopic and swell up. This has caused problems with timing gears binding in the past. Cheers, Stu.Which material for the ignition idler is the best? Acetal , Tufnol , Delrin, Pertinax , Nylon , ………. Erik
