The pipes are underway and we are having some silencers (twin pipes) designed and built but with the space restrictions with low level pipes and the lack of support rearwards of the footrest plates getting to 105Db without loosing power is going to be difficult. we have a noise meter so its suck it and see.

We have the pipes done (finally) we did use competition Fabrications in Attlebourgh, (The same company that used to belong to Mr Paravani) we were mainly interested in getting a good angle of lean. Bearing in mind we are not allowed high level pipes we hope we have done that by tucking in the pipes as close as possible. they are mounted on stubs so we can get to the timing case easily and dont have to worry about exhaust pipe nuts. They pass both sides of the bike and the compulsory sump is very small (The ACU rules say the content of the sump so thats a couple of egg cups sir!). The shape of the silencers are dictated by the space available consistent with hanging off the footrest plates and avoiding seat to exhaust pipes suspension struts, there is not much megaphone inside as its packed with silencer packing and pipe work and more work on a mute will be required to get to 105Db although we will have to have two settings as some meetings may be unsilenced. I saw Ben taking a video of the first start up boy it was well over 105!
