Also has anyone a tried and recomended alternative to the very expensive Mobil 1 0W40 oil as specified for V3 multiplate clutches, yes I have admitted defeat, originality must go!

I think a few posts ago Tom said he would use R in his twin but 40 was too heavy well yes it possibly is but I use R30 in the Alphabet twin and have done for years
