Given the US$1M lightning, the estimate on this one at £120,000-£150,000, dare I say it seems cheap, what am I missing?

No insane Australian who was going to buy the Ehret Lightning no matter what.
Your comment needs redrafting!

The Bonhams BL is probably, subject to checking; one of the Polish Black Lightnings sent to Centrala Handlu Zagranicznego Przemysłu Motoryzacyjnego "Motozbyt". ( or C.H.P.M. Motozbyt in the Denis Minett notebook)

Its only an estimate figure and Bonhams quite often put low figures to entice bidders and interest. The final hammer price is the important figure and that won't be known until the auction next April.

I don't know what the estimate on the Jack Ehret Lightning was when advertised as but I bet it was a lot less than what it sold for. Note the Ehret Lightning has race and record history and still had a lot of the original patina.

We should open a book on the final hammer price.
I think the estimate is fair.
The rumour is it will end up either in the Netherlands or County Down.........

Will be interesting to see what happens here in UK, I think £165000 in the current climate, Personally I prefer a bike with lights that I can use on the road and don't need a rolling road to start !
