Off subject a bit I'll admit but great fun . A while ago the new owner of Gunga Din visited us here in Louisville with his lovely wife , had Gunga outside in his immense house trailer . Never rolled it out . Very proud of his new acquisition he boasted , several times , that he was a graduate of a motorcycle mechanics school . We took him into our shop to see our Vincents where Matt proceeded to start every one , encluding the racers , with a single kick . Each sat there ticking over nicely , two much louder than the others of course , five machines , five kicks . He ran his finger tips over Tina and Lolas timing covers as they did their thing , seemed wanting to find fault or absorb the magic in each . Looked closely for flaws , his nature to do this it was clear to see . Shortly he left with his sweet wife tagging along headed for Florida where he ran a big show .
