Unfortunately Ken hit a kangaroo at some stage yesterday and unfortunately died from his injuries. I don't know the exact details.

Anyone that has meet Ken will know that he was a fine person, with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

He will be missed around our vintage club.

It's a sad day.

Not in anyway wanting to make light of this terribly sad accident that has taken Ken's life, but wild animals can be very dangerous, Sue is always a bit nervous when we are riding at dusk for fear of hitting a deer, seeing the damage done to a couple of my neighbours cars makes you realise what damage a reasonably large animal can cause. There is footage on youtube of a Wallaby bounding alongside the track at the Phillip Island race circuit during a Moto GP race not so long ago, if they are unable to keep them out of a race circuit when a race is in progress I guess they are always going to be a danger on public roads, or is it just terrible bad luck. All very sad indeed.
