RH Self-Agreed Value

This video was sent to me by RH Insurance regarding ‘Self Agreed Value’ for classic motorcycles which UK Members may find of interest.

You will see that RH Insurance consider requests for self-agreed value, at no additional cost, up to £50,000 per motorcycle (providing they’re registered prior to year 2000). They also automatically agree values on classic bikes up to £3,000 value.

For classic motorcycles which are valued at more than £50,000 they simply require a valuation from either a vehicle club or independent specialist.

Thanks for this post Graham, clear and concise. My own motorcycle insurance is due in June and this year l will shop around for quotes as opposed to taking my normal cant be arsed to shop around attitude. Yours, confused, comparing and pondering of West Wales...........

I wondered why mine went down this year with Carole Nash !.
Saw an online article today saying that car insurance premiums have seen their biggest drop in two years. I guess we’ve not been traveling as much over the last 12 months, so fewer claims. Plus insurance companies would have been slated had they gone up for no reason.

Well my van insurance went up a bit, but then they wanted an extra 1/3 for the missus's car with no change of circumstances, so somebody must be getting big discounts.

Apparently even the colour of the vehicle can affect the premium, mine are both black, what's yours?.

I had a POP about my Car insurance last year, And because I said I don't do as much mileage,
That got the price down a bit ?,
You could try that ?.
