I don't see any gang members riding 50 yr old BSA's or Norton's but it does get more old bikes back out on the road so I suppose it does raise a few more dollars in tax. With cut off being 25 yrs, you can put a Ducati 851 or Honda RC30 on classic rego. Insurance is cheaper as well.
The powers to be cannot,as yet, stop us from using our "antique" machines. If 1 or 2 hundred just happen to be in the same location at the same time, maybe it's just serendipity! Just don't tell them it wes previosly organised.
I would not like to pay the fee to a lawyer who was good enough to get me off with that defence
and anyway that paragon is working for the Ramblers Association closing the last of the Byways Open To All Traffic and turning all the 'C' roads into "Quiet Lanes" (A ploy to stop road maintenance and make them "access only" for motor vehicles)
