Good deal John....tight seal.....the way they SHOULD be..... I have seen some slip right in. I have also found warped case bores for which I made a piloted reamer to straighten..... in this rare situation I
used Hylomar insuring later all passages were clear.

Due to horrible memory I will have to find another parts book so I know what's what when numbers are quoted! ( Bad memory is an extra perk you get for being a Ranger in 'Nam)

The fit of oil pump sleeve to case bore is just one of the many places Vincents leak oil back into the sump doing no good what-so-ever to the parts that need it..... this is a minor one: but they all add up.

Take it to your local engineering works, and get it fixed

Actually I was asking about the oil passage that runs from the end of the oil pump chamber to the oil filter chamber. This engine is still in pieces so there are no oil leaks. The customer wants me to use new parts, except for the flywheels, so hopefully the G4 bushings will keep the oil from leaking out.
