No Newton Metre on Torque Wrench

Cannon BMW used to be in Braintree if I remember correctly.
It's a nice bike. Twenty years old but modern for me. Goes and stops.
Impressed with the Telelever front suspension. Zero dive under braking.

A little vibey around 3500/4000 rpm so
regular throttle body balancing is a good idea.
Also low speed engine hesitation that I've never been able to sort out.
We are in Witham now and have a cafe Wednesday to Sunday at the moment as well! Everyone welcome!

Hi
The torque wrench I have has no Nm readings but some of my Haynes manuals only have this in the specs.
Choices on the wrench are:
100 inch/lbs
Ft/lbs
Kg/M

I think my BMW R60/6 manual has Ft/lbs but not the R1100RS one. Wheel nut settings are in
Nm.
Not sure what Vincent torque settings are measured in but looking at possibly getting a new torque wrench anyway.
No branding on the current one (pic) but it is old. Has a 1/2” reversible socket attachment.
Any ideas on good brands but not too pricey would be appreciated.
One Newton = one Kg(force) so KgM same as Nm.

No it is not! Definition 1N is the force which will according to Sir Isaac N: F= m*a, accelerate a mass of 1kg by 1m/s squared! Hence 1kgforce = 9.81 N

Friend asked Rolls-Royce about torque for carburettor flange nuts for his 1927 model 20.
Answer: Use a six inch spanner and mechanical discretion.

Yes there is that.
I mainly use one for torquing down the cylinder heads on my R60/6.
Prefer to use a tool for that.

I could probably keep using the one I have although the Ft/lbs scale is a ittle corroded over.
Looking at others, I notice that many cover around 40-200 nm but the 3 stages used on the cylinder heads are 15, 35, 40 Nm.

I don't think that is a problem ?,
The first 2 should be able to be done by feel and maybe the length of the spanner ?.

I think my K100 was the same as your wheels ?.
