Question my Comet is due for MOT now but I have probs with the lights so question is if I SORN it now and after Nov it dosn't need MOT what is the position when I want to Tax it later?
And while i'm at it I suspect the JG 12v converter may be the cause of the lighting problem,so can anyone please tell me how to test the JG unit ?

Disconnect the regulator and dynamo, charge the battery and get it MOT'd.So long as the lights work for the MOT then it should pass..John

For my money it does not matter, mot or not, the lighting set will be useful one day. Just get in mended!
