Obviously used, but could be the basis of a coil ignition system, and it's in Queensland Australia, your part of the world.

You should ask if it has a 'C ' stamped on the end of the shaft. ie clockwise rotation from the driven end. Otherwise it won't do since the Advance mechanism works the wrong way. Ken
