Could be nothing, could be a lot. It all depends on what you have, new seats, old seats.
Loose Exhaust Push rod and Exhaust valve lifter

I have managed to find TDC firing accurately and set the tappets to zero clearance with push rods spinning free.
Prior to that I pulled the cam and cleaned all the parts last night and reinstalled.
I cycled the motor through by hand to make sure everything was running smoothly. All seemed well.
I guess it took a couple days and a good couple of sleeps to digest all the comments and apply what I have been reading on the forum to my bike.
I have put it all back together and went for a good solid ride today with Michael and his series B rapide. The bike was pulling hard and was quiet. A little smokey at idle but nothing during the ride. I now just have to learn how to install the exhaust lifter once it comes in from the spares company!
