This was pretty early in the history of GRP, too. Venting a low riding hull like that would have been a challenge. Do modern jetskis have bilge pumps?

I think that saying the Amanda disaster ruined Vincent is a bit like saying that the funnel that fell off the Titanic sank her...
The real reason was the reliance on the dear old ministry of supply and their orders for pilot-less target planes and lifeboats
then as now with electric cars they never back the 'right for the time' technology solutions but that,s not surprising none of them (especially now) would even know which way to turn a nut
