No idea Bruce. I remember going into an alloy steel supplier back in the seventies and asking for 5/16" wire. He asked how many yards I wanted and that was that.

Do 'em up 'til they strip, then slacken 'em off half a turn! No torque figures were given, but same as for 8mm bolts would be a start. Most important is to clean out all the crap from the blind holes and make sure there are no raised bits on the jointing faces. then snug them down with lubricant or anti-galling goo and recheck them all after getting the motor good and warm, then again at 1000 miles.What ever you do, never mill the jointing faces to restore flatness or you'll stuff the cylinder bore registers. I've seen this happen and it is not pretty.
