Hello everybody,

Does the nut ET84 chrome-plated, cadmium-plated or natural bronze ? I read "Know thy Beast" but didn't find the right reply.

Natural bronze for all the ones I have seen but wait until others have responded as well to get a consensus. If you do decide to plate do not do the threads.

You can have them chrome plated. I have a set in Electrolised nickle as this gives an even cover over sharp corners. As for plating the thread, that depends on the clearance before plating. I have known plating done specifically to tighten a sloppy fit-again in electrolised Nickle
