Rear stay looks weird in this photo.

I bet someone was attempting to move the rear end of the bike over, and tried lifting it via the stay.

When you posted that, I went and looked for another photo. Here’s one from the front taken the same day. I guess the strange shape in the first photo has something do do with the camera angle? It looks normal here.

From that view, I think the slight bend would not be detectable.

Yes you are correct … the part that looks like it is bent forward wouldn’t likely be visible. It’s just that it looks so wide in the first photo.

Some fender stays were down more than others. Could possibly have
been done for the center stand attachment.
