I recently bought a Rapide that came in about 20 boxes with some 'spares', that I view as old, rusty and and worn out parts. My intention is to keep that which is obviously unused, sell the stuff that is good but I won't use (series D stand etc), and sling the rest (old sprockets, chains, bushes, and springs galore!). But as the worn and rust stuff been kept for so long by the previous owner its made me wonder why. I do hoard useless stuff like the best of them but this isn't my 'hoard'. Want do others think?

Here's a use for a couple of old Vincent spokes, some rebar and the sides of an old car jack. OK, it's not very useful, but still.

How many spare chain links does one man need? You can tell the previous owner was in the sidecar section of the club.
