2 Front Heads - Rear Manifold Question

I think I cracked it. there are two float chambers but I didn't see the rear one at first so you are right .

back in 1966 I put 2 front heads on my C twin, we took 2 standard alloy adaptors and cut them about the get what we wanted and had them welded together...still on the bike, now owned by Peter Norris !!

It seems that Vincent heads like a straight shot in. That's why Bev's rear carb faces down. You'll notice many racing Vincents had their front carb coming straight in.
