I heard that every village and town in Wales is tohave a 20mph limit without exception
was this in any manifesto?
does any socialist member of the ruling body actually drive a car (I am certain none ride a motorcycle)

It’s the same in Scotland where many if not most villages have had a 20mph speed limit for 3 years or so.

Yep, as of next week anywhere in Wales where there are traffic lights will be reduced from 30mph to 20mph . Meanwhile they’ve been spending a small fortune widening all the footpaths to turn them into cycle paths - to the point where the roads around our town are two narrow for two large vehicles (lorries etc) to pass ‍.

Being brought up in the Chiltern hills I made myself a promise as at 16 I stood on top of the hill where I lived, the day before I got my 200 Tiger cub, "I will never ride another B...dy push bike again" and all the soap adverts and 'nudge nudge' by the government wont change me now. Anyone who knows the topography of Wales knows it will never be a common method of transport. Well if you have a vote in Wales you know what to do, and the next time a green calls for a vote ask them how many children they have, each one adds 30 tons of CO2 in their lifetime just by breathing, even more if they are push biking up mountains

After some tours of beautiful Wales we were shocked by the amount of traffic cameras and low speed limits in the mountains.
This will be another blow to the motorcycle tourist industry in Wales.

We have just four fixed time over distance and three Gatso cameras in the whole of God's own country.
The tree huggers have it all wrong in my opinion slower traffic equals more emissions next thing you know they will invent electric vehicles or silent killers as we call them.
You know the ones with huge end of life costs and all those nasty chemical batteries..

Not to mention the end of life costs of perfectly good ICE cars scrapped at 1/4 of life served...

As an International Rally activity, we were at Jay Leno's garage and he showed us a 100 year old steam car that got up to pressure in less than a minute and condensed and reused the steam/water.

Does anyone else remember the chap with a steam motorcycle who used to turn up to a VOC events during the 1980s? I remember him talking it round the twisty sprint at Curborough, during the lunchtime interval.
