Hi Graham,
As you left on Tuesday, your light looked LED, with a good spread & the beam cut off also looked good.
Are you on 6 or 12v?

I found that the 12V LED I used would not light up at all with power coming from the standard Miller headlight switch. There was to much voltage drop. With the relays it worked. The relays help the ordinary H4 bulbs to run brighter (and use more power) also. On the Vincent right now I use the H4 but I have tried the LED on some other bikes. I am using the LED on my Guzzi right now. Paul Goffe sells some bulbs that are supposed to work with 6 or 12 Volts. LEDs are not like filament bulbs where they are just dimmer if the voltage is low. I had a rather dim tail light on my BSA and eventually I noticed the previous owner had used a 12 V bulb instead of a 6v one. When you have an LED flashlight when the battery runs out the light goes out, it doesn't go dim first. Sometimes when the battery is low it will flash on and off before it dies completely.
