Question, new clutchplates C21 (inner, outer), are they 100% flat or slightly saucer-shaped
Wow dedication! Any small engineering shop will have a surface grinder 10 min jobIn the absence of a flat grinder, I just grind the clutch plates (if they are not too warped) as flat as possible with coarse grinding paste on a glass plate (MUCH WORK!)
I ground my primary clutch plates flat using coarse wet'n'dry paper on sheet glass, before I found out that they are SUPPOSED to be conical. In the absence of a flat grinder, I just grind the clutch plates (if they are not too warped) as flat as possible with coarse grinding paste on a glass plate (MUCH WORK!)

Yes very good one Teun. I will get someRight now I have the primary side open anyway. Maybe a tip, for securing the ESA I have been using a "Nord Lock" locking ring for years, see internet. Perfect stuff, but the inner diameter (25 mm) is a bit too tight, but just grind it out with a Dremel tool. I used to use a locking wire.
