What I want to do is to enlarge the Tank and having the filler cap on the right side. When the bike rests on the propstand I can fill up the tank complete. The intention was to create a larger tank in an eye friendly shape. Erik

I have filled my tank while on the center stand in the summer and petrol pissed out the cap's vent hole when it warmed up and expanded from the underground tank temperature. So, I try to leave some air space.

When you fill the tank on the propstand you have only 13 and a half liter in your 15 liter tank. This is the reason why most bikes have the fillercap on the right side or in the middle of the tank. It is free to everybody leaving halfaliter bubble of air in the tank while filling up ! Erik

If your teeth are kaputt in the right side then the cheapest solution is to chew on the left side. The Vincent motorcycles are one of the Most expensive you can buy. You can Save More Money if you buy an other make !or you do walking as a hobby. This Nerds only a pair of good shoes and no gasoline! Erik
