Just looked in August 1966 MPH and I can find no reference to a VOC meeting at Castle Combe. So I looked in the club calendar published in June & July 1966 and no mention either so may not have been a VOC organised event.

The VOC did have a Cadwell Park HST race meeting on 20th August 1966 and a VOC sprint at Poddington on 11th September 1966.
