This photo was recently passed on to me. I'm told it belonged to a 1949 Black Shadow which was owned by an employee at the Works.

If anyone knows any more, it would be good to know.

Good morning Graham,
that vehicle registration mark does relate to a 1949 Black Shadow that went to Conways in London at the end of 1949.
No owners ever notified the VOC of it's ownership until the 1990's, when it was still in London.
Since that time it appears that it has been broken up as the engine was in another frame in 2015.
