Saw this on JTAN and it could be of interest to anyone who has not yet got a copy:

""Vincent HRD - Made in Stevenage" is a 22 page, A5 size, black and white booklet published in 1999 by the Stevenage Museum.
It was based on contributions from worthies Bob Culver, Bob Clements, Ted Davis, Jack Furness, Eddie Messent, Norman Peach, Allan Rennie, Dorothy and Terry Wade, most of whom worked at Vincents.
Unfortunately several of them are no longer with us, but their words remain captured in the booklet.
About half the booklet is text and the other half photos.
Some of the photos are fascinating, in my opinion, and where known, the names of the people in them are stated.
You can still buy the booklet!
The Vincent booklet produced by the museum is GBP 3.50 ( plus postage, which varies a lot from country to country ).
Copies are available by post by emailing museum@stevenage.gov.uk or phoning on UK 01438 218881."

I ordered the booklet over the phone on Wednesday and received it today. Pretty prompt!

Bought mine at the International in 1999. There was a queue about a hundred deep out of the office.
