Looking at buying a 1951 black shadow. Need to trace its history and prove authentication. Any ideas?

OK, so I have the following numbers:
Engine F10AB/1B#####
Frame RC####B/E
Spare engine F10AB/1 ####

I think 1951 black shadow series C. But are the frame and engine a match?

Hope you don't mind but I have redacted the numbers from you post and I will contact you direct via email about them as I don't like discussing numbers on the open forum if you don't actually own the bike or parts yet. So look out for an email.
