Plenty of NOS KLG FE70 to be had.
Without any doubt my plug of choice, and thankfully I might have future proofed myself, but bizarrely enough, KLG FE70 (Smiths Industries) spark plugs, a good old, but long defunct British company, seem to be far more readily available in the USA than they are in England.

Very strange this ? the KLG Plugs I fitted yesterday were made in a VW box supplied by Volkswagen GB Limited, were actually FE80 (not 70) I hope these will be OK until I get B6ES ?

It is not that strange, I have 4 KLG FE70 that were originally supplied in a Rootes Group box, it simply indicates that KLG were the preferred provider of spark plugs to several car manufacturers, and they chose to brand them as their own part. FE80 is getting a little away from the recommended heat range, FE50 and FE70 are the recommendations, I have no idea whether that is advisable or not, I think it might be a colder plug,
FE50 being for an oily engine, FE70 being for a normal use.
