That 'A' twin looks to be in remarkably clean and shiny trim for a bike which has been stood for many years. Hard to believe that it has not been worked over for the photograph.

That is the way it is.
Restored very slowly over many years and I don't think it has been run...
The owner who recently passed away was a Club member and made lots of parts, including the rear damper clamps which are a bit tricky.
I think stashed away may be a slight misnomer, as he did work on them all from time to time but I don't think ever quite wanted to finish the last little details.

I saw pictures of the machine before the purchase it is and was as you see it.

He bought the A Twin from me and it was a true basket case. It was not a "secret" or a lost bike, but it did not come up much. He did an amazing amount of work on the bike. He was well known in his local section.
