In the past (well actually there is still one strapped to my trials bike now) I have carried a finlec or similar to pump up a tyre to get me home (or the finish) after a deflation knowing the tube will be best in the bin afterwards.
However I note that there are lots of puncture prevention - tyre balancing compounds around now to be installed before the puncture, I would like to have some recommendations from anyone who has tried one - UK availability
