Tracy Tools have a bit of trouble with Douglas threads (Douglas used 'funny' threads to keep people going back to their stockists , great idea till they went bust ) I got stuck with the barrel holding down nuts of my 1925 EW they were 5/16" X 25 no chance
untill someone told me gently to use M8X1mm !
But for "normal" motorcycles you wont find better than Tracy Tools
If the objective is to have 7/8" x 20 TPI, then you are most likely stuck with 60Deg BSC. For what you are doing the thread angle is not critical, they will screw together happily & safely.
