Looks like it was taken in the big "tent" in Neiderwetz at the German leg of the 1987 International rally.
Happy days.

Phil is wearing a Shadow Lake 1982 North American rally jacket. Very rare, wasn’t offered for sale to rally attendees, but rather given to the concours winners, and other special guests.

I thought it sort of looks like Russell Wright…

Yes, picture was made in 1987 International Rally Niederwetz. I was the driver for the Irvings at their stay. I borrowed a BMW 754i from a friend of mine and choose the right drive in Phils expression. We had wonderful hours.

I had the privilege of collecting Phil and Edith from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof; quite difficult to pick them out from so many passengers. I then drove them back to Niederwetz in my Austin Maxi. After some interesting conversation during the journey I realised there no replies to my questions:my passengers were fast asleep in the back seat!
