Yes, one of the last few 1939 Comets built. It was probably supplied by Ralph Dee Motorcycles in Nailsworth. Well known around Gloucestershire in post-war years. Now with a known VOC Owner further north and nicely restored.

Your correct Peter. According to the factory records its a mid 1939 Comet that went to Ralph Dee when new. Still in the VOC.

Some may be interested in the headlamp; three of the photos were clearly taken in the war years when vehicles had to abide by strict regulations in order to reduce the likelihood of attracting German bombers when out riding at night...

Mr Miller would have been proud that his headlights had to be subdued! :cool:
