My good friend Jack Marshall passed away recently, and left as many Vincent owners do a shed full of intriguing Vincent artifacts. One of these is a Comet which will appear in June's MPH for sale, also there is a set of Girdraulics, Comet crankcase, rfm and finally a jewel in the crown - a #16 Grey Flash Albion gearbox and a Grey Flash bearing carrier, pic attached. The gearbox has been removed and a video is available of it being worked through the gears. It is available for sale, Dave Dunfey has given me an estimate of what he feels is fair market value. Great minds think alike there is a previous thread of the same name here with a ratio chart

I am having some difficulty calculating the internal ratios of my Albion Box in a form normally accepted and shown in books. In the past like many others I just read the ratios from a book and calculate speeds via sprocket ratios and chose accordingly but of course with an Albion box who knows...
