Just to point out to oexing that I know of at least two people who race twins with about 100 hp at the engine, with belts and they do not brake the belts. The one I know best uses a cush drive in the rear wheel.

Belts with original ESA ? Or nothing in there ? It is just what I say, no ESA or a little rubber with no huge backlash will be easier on the primary drive than the bashing of the poor original.
