The National Motorcycle Museum at Birmingham had an open day on Saturday 27-10-18. Entry to the museum was free and there were sessions with guest speakers in the Brittania Suite. The 11.00 am session was very entertaining with Steve Plater as compère for guests, John McGuinness, Trevor Nation, Mick Grant, Norton CEO Stuart Garner and Norton Chief Designer Simon Skinner. Beforehand a selection of bikes were lined up at the Fountain Courtyard and persuaded into life. Some were more reluctant than others on this cold morning but Nero roared into life at the second attempt.
