Marble is a bit OTT tho... But I suppose it would make a good surface plate?

Go to your custom kitchen suppliers (ask the TBPPINW where they are, but make it clear you are not proposing any improvements to the kitchen or indeed about to tell her about that affair) you will find that unless the customer has been seduced by butler sinks (like my mum threw away as old fashioned years ago) he has loads of sink cut outs from marble work surfaces so he could fit stainless steel sinks. Those cut outs are just right for surface plates

I'd need a wide angle lens to give a picture of the beer fridge. A very wide angle. I'm off the grog.....
