I have just purchased new stainless mudguards, does anyone know the dimentions for locating the front guard. ie distance from front edge to fork bridge plate, distance fron front and rear edge to stays. :mad:

See 'Know Thy Beast' E.M.G. Stevens. Page 41. Then adjust measurements to suit. Stainless guards are usually a different length. Beware of having the front mudguard rear stay too high or it can foul the magneto cover on full fork extension.

My rear stay was too near the cowl and Uncle Ron suggested a washer on top of each of the front head nuts to lower the motor a little bit. It had worked well.
