Jenbro 6" Pliers for Series ‘C’ Toolkit

The following photographs show both sides of two 6" Jenbro pliers, one of which I'm pretty sure was supplied in tool kits at the time of my 1950 machine, but the other of which might or might not be appropriate as well.

The round vs. rectangular region of the wire cutter portion immediately stands out, although closer inspection reveals other detail differences. It's not obvious (to me, at least) that the design of one is newer than the other. Comments from those-who-know on which version was made c1950, and which was made earlier/later, please.

I no longer have the actual tools at hand, but here is a photo I took of the tools believed to be from a late 1952 built Shadow my father bought new. I don't have the side with the wire cutter opening, but the other side looks to be a match for the LHS pliers in your photo.

Edit - Oh, sorry, I just realized, my pliers are King Dick, not Jenbro.

(yes, one wrench is missing, and the wooden handled screwdriver has had the tip narrowed)

Same as the one in your pictures on left side but a different Jenbro stamp. No idea which stamp is correct.

Here's a better look at the stamp on mine, after a few seconds with a Scotchbrite pad:

It looks like it was poorly embossed rather than worn away.

Yup. A guy who lives in Missoula gave me the K17. It is probably the hardest tool kit item to find.

I must be missing something. Surely the VOC imprint on the red cloth means it's not from the original toolkit.

It is a series C type of K17.
