Actually I've never used the Whitkapedia resource and just took a look at it, very informative and sure glad someone has directed me to it. In fact, it reminds me I should research one of my own old articles on the kickstarter and an attendant modification that eliminated the broken case syndrome if one is too harsh on the kicker itself. An engineer friend assisted me in coming up with a stop attached to the G50 that has been in use for about 20 years now. I did find a bit on the Dunn electric start and now realize it requires a chaincase mod, extension, I didn't know about. Bob's name in the industry is a well respected one and I was interested to see what he came up with. Thanks for the direction. Wish I could say thanks Mr. so and so, but Pushrod Twin shall have to do. Ah, the non de plumes, we all have our glitches and in 30 years of publishing auto racing books, newspapers they weren't allowed under my watch. "Oh, everyone knows who One Track is." Right. I didn't and being in the US had no way to figure out who he was. Then again, in this country, the Lone Ranger sure was successful but at least we knew his pal's name (Tonto) and his horse, "Hi-Yo Silver, Away!! I helped some character put a distributor in an English car one time on one of my rides through the British countryside, and when he asked who I was, I left and gave the Lone Ranger salutation. Hadn't thought about that one in years.
