Non Vincent
I have this steering lock its from a long burn rebuild of an unusual hub centre steering bike (Difazio) based on a R100/7 BMW airhead once owned by an deceased Vincent owner.
As it was in a damp shed for many years I have no keys and I have no idea what it was from, car, bike? to give an idea of scale those countersunk screws are about M4/2BA the number on the lock face is 2 26
If anyone recognises the item perhaps i could get a new one or a line on the key

I don't recognise it. We have a hardware security shop in town and they have been helpful in the past, sorted a key for one of my Honda CBR1000's.
Perhaps worth trying that kind of place if you have a similar shop nearby.

Old style security lock type barrel, key is small and strong seen them used on old gun lockers and such.

Maybe old air heads. The z pattern key looks familiar.
Take it along to a really good lock smith and have a key made.
Not expensive, might be worth calling Motoworks sending them the picture they know their onions old BMWs.
It looks very old BMW.
