Someone in another club has been asked to make a rear hub for a HRD model 90, and has been told it was an Enfield cush drive hub, is this the case or did they use another make.
Does anyone have good pictures of one please.

Chris.

If you look on www.brufnut.de, there's a guy called Wilfried who made most of the parts for an exact copy of an early Brough SS100. He made a small number of Enfield cush drive rear hubs for this bike and other machines he owns. The pages on the Enfield hub are here: http://www.brufnut.de/SS100/HUBS/hubs.htm
I have made several as well, but I don't think that was what the HRD, used which is why I asked if anyone had pictures.
There are at least two sizes of that type of Enfield hub, the Brough, Norton, Scott, Royal Enfield and Panther heavyweights use one with a 2" diameter hub tube, and there are also variations in drum fitting and sizes.

well that sorta shoots me out of the water :)
Couldn't afford to even think about buying an SS100, so spent 10 years on and off making one, but I was really lucky making contacts and couldn't have managed without them.
