My brother spends much of our UK winter in Spain. He drives his camper van there with a motor cycle strapped to the back and tows a home built three wheeler that doubles as a boat trailer and run around for when the camper is settled in place on the campsite. ( Yes it does sound complicated, you have to see it to believe it.)
He recently sent me an email saying that I might find the information about air pollution restricted areas on the continent when travelling by motor transport. With new "Green Zone" restriction areas coming in he will have to revise his normal route through France when he drives back to the UK in March. If you are planning on attending any of the rallies on the continent it might be a good idea to check and see if your planned route might involve a pollution zone.
We already have a restricted zone in London and I didn't realise how many there were in Europe. Countries outside the EU may also have polution restricted zones. There is a link below to more information.
