Hmmm. I replied with all the bits listed but it appears to have got lost in the ether so here we go again....

Looking at the parts lists I seem to have ET172/2, ET168, ET165AS, ET167, ET175 (2 off), ET187 (2 off), ET169, ET98, ET98/1, ET166, ERT129, ET69 (pin), ET69R and ET69F.

The bits needed for the Comet seem to be (can't read the diagram very well) E218, E217, E223, E219, E220, ET69FAS, ET75, E221, 75.

So, as far as I can see, the only bits that are common are nuts 75 - not a good start, really!!

As you say not a good start. If we can agree a price then I might be prepared to buy all the parts you have surpluss to requirements for a future project. That way you have cash to buy what you realy need. I can be contacted on enw07@btinternet.com
