I like a front switch, Short bit of wire from the headlight switch power, To the front,
I Tend to do most braking on the front,
So hope it warns people behind.
Series Ds were fitted with a Lucas brake light switch operated by the balance beam and mounted above it on the FF32D plate. It is hidden on enclosed Ds by FF82 screen plate. The FF32C can easily be converted to carry the switch which is no 31445 31437, about £14 on ebay. I think late sixties Triumph 650s had these on the back with the in cable switch on the front.
Aren't these newfangled stop lights all a bit unnecessary, when you need to brake or stop, don't you just wave your outstretched right arm up and down like a one winged swan trying to take off.
